Hello everybody!

Just wanted to announce the launch of the new website!

The whole archive and comment history is also there.

Something interesting is happening…

Earlier, I reported about my Photoblog. Two things have happened since. Firstly, a picture I posted (that Janneke took) is now featured on the frontpage of Photoblog (congrats Janneke). Secondly, a rather odd discussion erupted at a photo of mine which features a weird object in the sky. The commenters are discussing whether it’s aliens, a pancake or a waffle. Might be random Stumblers, might be Len (a.k.a. Mr. Pancake).

I made a commitment…

After reading an article which I found while using StumbleUpon, I decided to start taking at least one picture per day and putting it online. This way, in a year time, I can look back at the year day by day and get a rather vivid picture of my life. However, the longer I keep doing this, the more interesting it will get.

The best thing however, is this…. You get to see it too! πŸ˜‰

Website update

I’ll be redoing some of the layout of the website tonight. Don’t be surprised if it looks funny. It’s temporary.

If someone could please fix me a new header, that would be great.

Mr. Fix It

Ok.. A few days ago I was wondering why I had a huge traffic drop when I went to Bulgaria… It was ironic, but frustrating. However, being in this country puts me in a state of wanting to get things done… So I got things done. πŸ˜‰

My Flickr spoke to me…

Hey Spartz! About your photos… You’ve run into one of the limits of a free account. Your free account will only display the most recent 200 photos you’ve uploaded. All of your photos beyond 200 will remain hidden from view until you either delete newer photos, or upgrade to a Pro account.None of your photos have been deleted, and if you upgrade, they’ll all come back unharmed.

Someone recommend me a better website to upload my pictures to. Or:

πŸ˜‰ Just joking.

Leave a comment. (Don’t worry about having to fill in your email, it is invisible to visitors or third parties)

Let’s Stumble!

Hey everyone. Just wanted to throw a nifty tool at you, that I’ve been using for about a month now. It’s called StumbleUpon. The concept is great. First, you sign up and install this toolbar:

When you’ve signed up, it will redirect you to your profile page so that you can add your personal interests. From now on, whenever you press the “Stumble!”, the toolbar will pull up a website that fits into your interests. If you like it, you press “I Like It!” to give it a thumbs up and indicate that you want to see more websites like this. You can also give it a thumbs down. I’m pretty excited about this because 1) I’ve gotten some really great links and bookmarks through this, 2) it’s a great internet marketing tool (leave a comment if you’re interested, I can write an article about this).

To check out what pages I liked, go to my Stumble profile. Sign up and add me as a friend! Keep stumbling!

And be sure to press “I Like It!” whenever you next view this website πŸ˜‰
